Columbus Base Holland Club Induction was held on April 2, 2022 at the Hilliard VFW #4931. Following a social hour and Dinner the following members were inducted into the USSVI Holland club having completed 50 years of Submarine qualification: David A.Creekmore, 1972 on USS Nathanael Greene SSBN-636; Charles M. Sabino, 1972 on USS Tinosa SSN-606; R. E. Hogan, 1968 on USS Mariano G. Vallejo SSBN-658; Paul E. Gant, 1969 on USS Tautog SSN-639; Kelly W. Graham, 1970 on USS Alexander Hamilton SSBN-617. Columbus Monthly Meeting was held on 5 Febuary 2022 at the Worthington American Leigon Post 239. The Secretary George Petershagen was sworn in by Chaplain Sharon Lloyd. There were no photos of the meeting as there was a camera malfunction at the meeting.

With a truly heavy, heavy heart I inform you of the passing of one of the founders of Columbus Base... Elizabeth "Liz" Kenyon on 20 October 2021. Liz, wife of fellow Columbus Base founder Bernie Kenyon, was one of the original 24 "plank owners" who met in Plain City, Ohio in November 2003 to form Columbus Base USSVI.
