Columbus Base held its annual Holland Club Induction ceremony and dinner Saturday 6 April at the VFW Post #4932. The Holland Club is to honor those shipmates that Qualified in Submarines 50 years ago.
There were five shipmates inducted into the Holland Club this year:
- Tom Baughman (1974 USS Billfish SSN-676)
- Walt Fleak (1974 USS Grayling SSN-646)
- Mike Hogan (1974 USS Whale SSN-638)
- Gary Sievers (1967 USS Alexander Hamilton SSBN-617)
- Jim Steck (1972 USS Ethan Allen SSBN-608)
The dinner was excellent and events were well planned, a BZ to the following for making it such a great evening: Clutch Koogler, Tim Barker, Erin and Chris McDonough, Lindsay Hamel, Marcia and Eric Dreiseidel and Galin Brady
